In ヘルドッグス Goro Idezuki is a former police officer with a thirst for revenge who decides to hunt down and kill all the perpetrators of a massacre. After that, he will have to ally himself with his worst enemies and infiltrate the Yakuza.
Goro Idezuki (Junichi Okada) was in love with the employee of a supermarket where there was a massacre. For 11 years he hunted and killed all the executioners. Even those who had abandoned the life of crime.

Hideki Murooka (Kentarô Sakaguchi) is one of the members of Hell Dogs. His parents are on death row for participating in a hideous cult called the Veda Revelation. Where Murooka was forced to go 6 months without eating. He was only fed by serum.

The Special Crimes Division, instead of arresting Goro Idezuki, for taking justice into his own hands, gave him a second chance with the mission of becoming an undercover agent in the criminal organization Toshokai (東鞘会). With the alter ego of Shogo Kanetaka, he approaches Hideki Murooka, using their personality compatibilities, and makes his way to the top of the Yazuka.

The fifth head of Toshokai died. With that, a war began between the Ujiie and Kozu families to see who would succeed him. When the war ended the sixth chief, a member of the Kozu family, was assassinated and his secretary, Yoshitaka Toake (Miyavi), took over the power of the Yakuza.
The Hell Dogs are a hybrid gang made up of the Kozu and Mikami families. Muroo is not one of the heads. But in matters of personality, he is the most compatible with Kanetaka. Facilitating the infiltration of Hell Dogs.
A year later, Kanetaka received from his boss, Tsutomu Toki (Kazuki Kitamura), the mission of being Yoshitaka Toake’s bodyguard. It was the opportunity he wanted.

Muroo was dating Anna, a former colleague of the Veda cult. He didn’t know. But, she is the daughter of the employee that Idezuki, undercover as Kanetaka, was in love with.
“They killed my mother and three colleagues. My father killed himself after that.”
Kanetaka and Muroo continue to prove their worth to Yoshitaka Toake. Keeping him out of harm’s way and neutralizing assassination attempts.
“We need to reevaluate security. Completely. You have good men working for you.”
After gaining a lot of respect among everyone, Hideki Murooka and Kuniya Mikami (Satoshi Kanada), also known as Slick, the leader of one of the founding families of the Hell Dogs, discovers that Shogo Kanetaka is Goro Idezuki and now he will have to fight for his life.

Hell Dogs: In the House of Bamboo portrays a little of how this secret criminal organization works, how the bosses behave and the criminal honor codes. One of the most striking things about the Japanese mafia is that they don’t carry guns. This is unthinkable for organized crime in other countries.
