If you want to read my review of The Limit of Sleeping Beauty, read this post. リミット・オブ・スリーピング・ビューティー, Aki went to Tokyo to try to be an actress, but only managed to become a frustrated magician’s assistant. After 10 years living the madness of the big city, she lost touch with reality.
Kaito Sada (Issei Takahashi) was a famous photographer and owner of the Aurora circus. He had high hopes for Aki’s success, but he died prematurely.
“Got a place to stay? If you want, stay at Aurora.”
Aki Oria (Yuki Sakurai) makes a living pretending to be hypnotized by a magician at the Aurora. Frustrated and alone in her love life, she began to lose her lucidity.
“Even though I recognise my existence, I often don’t know where I am or when it is”
With 29 years old, unable to fulfill her dreams and without her boyfriend, Kaito, she realized that the big city was not a sane place to live, but she also had nowhere to go back to.
The Limit of Sleeping Beauty: japanese movie review

Kaito met and welcomed Aki 10 years ago. He fell in love with her and had great confidence in her success as an actress and manager of Aurora.
“I haven’t accomplished a thing he hoped for.”
In her mind, there were flashes of fear and uncertainty. Finally, the emotions she had tried to contain or run away from began to torture her.
“Around that time, I was reaching my limit.”
The only emotion that kept Aki grounded in reality was the excitement and passion that arose when she arrived in Tokyo and met Kaito.
“In return for staying, can I work here?”
At the same time, the delusions and memory loss worsened. Aki couldn’t remember who she knew, why she was in those places at those times and whether it was real or a dream.
“My memories are a jumble. You think I’m hopeless?”
Amidst the sweet memories, the sad ones, delusions, hallucinations and the resulting mental confusion, it becomes increasingly difficult to know if Aki can be cured.
The Limit of Sleeping Beauty review: struggle for reality

There will be those who will find this film nonsensical, but it must be understood that this is probably how the mind of a disturbed person works.
From a medical point of view, what was happening in Aki’s brain was simply an imbalance of chemical reactions.
From her point of view, it was an imbalance of all her dreams, desires, obsessions, memories, fears and frustrations. Which distorts the fabric of her reality.
Why you should watch The Limit of Sleeping Beauty

I won’t leave The Limit of Sleeping Beauty ending explained or a download link here, but It’s a scenic, circus-like film, full of nudity and with the stunning beauty of Yuki Sakurai.
Despite her having a solid career, I haven’t seen many films with her as the main role. Therefore, I recommend this movie to all Yuki Sakurai fans.
