If you want to read my review of Gantz, read this post. In ガンツ, two friends save a man on the subway tracks. But, they were killed by the train. Then, a mysterious orb tells them that to be resurrected, they will have to kill.
Kei Kurono (Kazunari Ninomiya) was on the station platform, waiting for the subway, on his way to a job interview. He recognized Masaru. But, at first, he wasn’t seen.
“The express service will not stop at this station.”
Masaru Kato (Kenichi Matsuyama) didn’t think twice about jumping off the platform and helping the fallen passenger on the tracks. When he recognized Kei, he asked for help.
“Somebody! Anybody! Kei-chan, is that you, Kei-chan? Help me!”
As if it were a dream, after being run over, they woke up in an apartment full of strangers and with a black sphere, called Gantz, which, displayed instructions and offered weapons, saying that they had to go back to Earth and kill aliens.
Gantz: live action review

Kurono and Kato had more questions than answers. When Kei Kishimoto (Natsuna Watanabe) arrived, they discovered how the teleporters were and Gantz communicated for the first time.
“All of your olds lives are gone. I’ll decide how to use your new lives.”
Gantz showed who would be their first target. An alien. Then the sides of the sphere opened and, in addition to weapons and battle uniforms, there was what appeared to be a man inside. Breathing. However, motionless.
“Does that mean he’s alive?”
Before they changed and learned to use the weaponry, Gantz transported them back to Earth and gave them a 20-minute deadline for the mission to be accomplished.
Fear and panic gripped the group. Apparently, only one person had combat experience with those clothes and those weapons. However, he was no friend.
“If you complete the mission, you win $100,000. I begged dad to put me on this show.”
With just a few seconds left on the timer, they accomplished their mission. Almost half of the group died and the survivors were teleported back to Gantz’s apartment.
“You disappoint me. You won’t survive the next round.”
After having their performances evaluated and scored by the Gantz, Kurono, Kato and Kishimoto woke up in their homes, as if everything had been a dream. However, was it? Was just one completed quest enough for Gantz to resurrect them?
Gantz: japanese movie review

Before this Gantz live action, released in 2010, there was the anime. So popular in my generation that several other films have been released, starting in 2011.
In addition to being an adaptation of the anime that brought together several actors and actresses, that nowadays I am a fan and follow the work. For example, Yuriko Yoshitaka. It was through Gantz that I discovered one of my favorite Japanese songs.
Bonnie pink’s Last Kiss is present at the end of the anime and it’s wonderful. After I saw her singing and dancing live, I definitely fell in love.
