Yōji Matsuda movies and TV shows: Yōji is an actor, voice actor, and narrator. He made his child actor debut in the television drama Mother’s Suzu (1974). His confirmed television appearances include Family Game (1983), Oshin (1983–1984), From the North Country, and the NHK Taiga dramas Tokugawa Ieyasu (1983) and Hōjō Tokimune (2001). His film credits include Blue Christmas (1978), Dogra Magra (1988), Haruka Nostalgia (1993), The Hidden Blade (2004), Kabei: Our Mother (2008), Foujita (2015), and Character (2021). As a voice actor, he voiced Asbel in Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984), Ashitaka in Princess Mononoke (1997), and Sōjirō Takase in The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2006). He was born on October 19, 1967, in Tokyo.
