White Lily

If you want to read my review of White Lily, read this post. In ホワイトリリー, Tokiko at her husband’s request, took Haruka into her studio. After her husband’s death, the teacher-student relationship blossomed into something more, which was shaken by the emergence of Satoru.

Tokiko Inui (Kaori Yamaguchi) was an award-winning ceramist, owner of the Tokiko Studio and highly sought-after at events.

“It’s quite boring, but I have to show up.”

Haruka (Rin Asuka) was the most experienced student. She lived in her teacher’s house and often taught classes in her absence.

“You can handle it yourself, right? They’re just amateurs.”

Tokiko had heterosexual relationships that sometimes didn’t satisfy her desires. In addition to being a substitute teacher, Haruka also fulfilled the role of satisfying her.

White Lily: japanese movie review

Haruka had run away from home and was accepted into their home by Tokiko and her husband. So, the relationship of admiration and lust also involved an emotional debt.

As the years went by, more and more people learned pottery, making Tokiko very popular. So Haruka would accept anything to remain her student

“Tightening takes 3 years, while shaping takes 8 years.”

After the publicity events, Tokiko often brought men home. And Haruka, who slept in the other room, would masturbate while listening to the teacher’s moans.

Haruka didn’t mind, but seeing the teacher bring the young and attractive Satoru Nikaido (Shôma Machii) to live with them wasn’t easy.

“Slender fingers are the best, like yours.”

Satoru had a girlfriend, Akane (Kanako Nishikawa), and had just entered another relationship with a delicate balance in the pursuit of pleasure.

“Haruka doesn’t mind because she accepts everything I do. You promised me, right?”

Although she had promised to accept everything, Haruka had a limit, and now she would have to make a choice regarding the teacher’s sex life with the committed Satoru.

Reviewing White Lily: pink film

Although we in the West see this genre of Japanese cinema as soft-core porn or just soft porn, the more appropriate term would be pink film.

An adult genre created in the 1960s by independent Japanese studios to categorize Japanese movies with erotic or nude content.

So, action or thriller films can fall into this category. This adds another dimension to the film, considering that the script itself can be very cool.

Why you should watch White Lily

I won’t leave White Lily ending explained or a download link here and even though I’m not a fan of the genre what I can tell you is that Rin Asuka is beautiful.

Not simply beautiful, but charming. The director was very successful in choosing the shots to highlight her sensuality.
