Misako Tanaka movies and tv shows: she is affiliated with Sato Kikaku. She made her acting debut in the TBS drama Omoide Zukuri (1981). She received the 6th Japan Academy Film Prize for Newcomer of the Year for her performance in the film Diamond wa Kizutsukanai (1982). She has appeared in films such as Diamond wa Kizutsukanai (1982), Ushimitsu no Mura (1983), Nagagutsu San (1986), Asako I & II (2018), Yuki no Hana (2019), The Asadas (2020), Riverside Mukolitta (2021), and Sekai no Hajimari wa Soba ni Aru (2022). Her television appearances include the dramas Moto Kare (2003), Gekiryū: Watashi wo Oboete Imasuka? (2013), Yesterday’s Meal Season 2 (2023), The Best Teacher (2024), and Mukou no Kaji ~Kore ga Watashi no Ikiru Michi!~ (2025). Misako was born on November 11, 1959 in Shimane.
