Osamu Mukai movies and TV shows: he is affiliated with Hori Agency. Osamu began his entertainment career after being scouted while working at a bar. He made his acting debut in television dramas in the mid-2000s and later appeared in the NHK morning drama GeGeGe no Nyobo (2010), in which he played manga artist Shigeru Mizuki. He has appeared in films such as Paradise Kiss (2011), The Chef of South Polar (2009), BECK (2010), The Lies She Loved (2018), and We Made a Beautiful Bouquet (2021). His television appearances include GeGeGe no Nyobo (2010), Hungry! (2012), Saka no Ue no Kumo (2009–2011), The 13 Lords of the Shogun (2022), and Double Cheat (2024). Osamu Mukai was born on February 7, 1982, in Yokohama.

If you want to read my review of Her Granddaughter, read this post. In 娚の一生, Dozono Tsugumi really likes to stay at her grandmother’s house in the countryside. Unfortunately, her grandmother died and she decides to take care of the house. Out of the blue, a former student of her grandmother appears and says he has the right to live in the adjoining house. Thus, they begin to live together in this strange arrangement.
