Yusuke Iseya is an actor and model. Born on May 29, 1976 in Tokyo. He has appeared in fashion magazines and commercials, and since 1999 has focused on acting. In 2000, he won the Newcomer Encouragement Award at the 10th Japanese Professional Movie Awards for his role in the movie Blonde Grassland. In 2003, he took on the challenge of playing three roles: director, screenwriter, and lead role in the movie Cactus. His 2008 movie Blindness was selected as the opening film of the 61st Cannes Film Festival, which became a hot topic. In 2011, he won the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 35th Japan Academy Film Prize for his role in Tomorrow’s Joe, and in 2019, he won the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 43rd Japan Academy Film Prize for his role in Fly Me to the Saitama. He is also scheduled to appear in the movie Penalty Loop, which is scheduled to be released in March 2024.
