If you want to read my review of Bleach, read this post. In ブリーチ, Ichigo Kurosaki receives the powers of Rukia Kuchiki, a goddess of death injured in battle, and he must use them to fight a Hollow, an evil soul that wants to feed on his soul.
Ichigo Kurosaki (Sota Fukushi) is a high school student. He doesn’t know it, but he is the son of a Shinigami and a Quincy. That’s why he can see ghosts.
“You must have a lot of spiritual pressure to be able to see a Hollow.”
Rukia Kuchiki (Hana Sugisaki) is a shinigami, a soul reaper, vice-captain aka lieutenant of the 13th division of the Soul Society’s imperial guards.
“Hollows devour souls like yours. That’s what he wants.”
Rukia met Ichigo because the Hollow Fishbone was lured by him, kidnapped his sister and injured Rukia. Only he would be able to protect the three of them.

Realizing Ichigo’s power, Rukia could only think of one alternative. So, she transfers her powers and turns him into a substitute shinigami.
“I will thrust my sword into your chest and inject my energy into you through my Zanpakuto.”
On the world of the living, Rukia’s mission was to defeat the evil souls and send the good ones to Soul Society. From now on, that was Ichigo’s job.
“If we fail, we both die.”
Neither he nor Rukia knew of Ichigo’s parental ancestry. The fact was, he easily defeated Hollow Fishbone.
“Are you really just a human?”
Rukia couldn’t return to Soul Society nor could she get her powers back. So, she had to stay in Karakura Town and assign her duties to Ichigo.
“So what? I only fought last night to protect my family.”
He couldn’t escape his destiny. However, none of this was approved by Rukia’s brother. The Captain of the 6th division of the imperial guard, Byakuya Kuchiki (Miyavi).
She was breaking the Reaper’s Code and could be executed for it. Byakuya sent Renji Abarai to arrest her and take her back, but Ichigo wouldn’t let him do that.
Bleach’s Live Action: Soul Society
The Soul Society is one of the 3 worlds that exist in Bleach, along with the world of the living and Hueco Mundo. And there are the 13 divisions of the imperial guards.
Byakuya Kuchiki is the captain of the 6th division and has Renji Abarai as vice-captain. All divisions obey the orders of commander Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto.
There is also the Zero Division, made up of former captains of the Gotei 13 and they are responsible for protecting the Soul King.
Why you should watch Bleach
I won’t leave Bleach ending explained or a download link here, but when it comes to cosplay, Bleach is one of the best Live Actions I’ve ever seen.
The story, the scenes and some of the characters’ characteristics were also very faithful. I really recommend it.
