Shuri was born on september 21, 1990, in Tokyo. Blood type: O. Belongs to Top Coat. In March 2011, she made her acting debut in the TBS drama “3-nen B-gumi Kinpachi Sensei Final”. Her first lead role was in the movie “Tokyo no Hi” released in 2015. She won the Newcomer Actor Award at the 42nd Japan Academy Awards and the Best Actress Award at the 28th Japan Movie Professional Awards for her role in the movie “Ikiteru Dake de, Ai” released in 2018. Since then, she has appeared in the dramas “My Housekeeper Nagisa-san” (2020), “Red Eyes: Surveillance Investigation Team” (2021), “DCU” (2022), the streaming drama “Tokyo Poverty Girls – I Thought Poverty Was Someone Else’s Problem” (2023), and the movie “Hokaage” (2023). In 2011, she played the heroine Hanada Suzuko (Fukurai Suzuko) in the NHK morning drama “Boogie Woogie” and also sang the theme song “Happy ☆ Boogie”. His father is actor Yutaka Mizutani and his mother is actress Ran Ito.
