If you want to read my review of Snow Flower, read this post. In , Miyuki has always been sick and discovers that she has little time left to live, so she gathers the courage to rent a boyfriend for a month to know what is like.
Miyuki Hirai (Ayami Nakajo) spent her entire life taking exams and medication, unable to enjoy her life as she wanted and now she has received the worst news of all.
“Have no regrets about this year. Cherish it.”
Yusuke Watabiki (Hiroomi Tosaka) was a father to his younger siblings. He recovered Miyuki’s purse from a mugger, but he had a bit of a gruff personality.
“If you have something to say, say it out loud!”
The biggest dream Miyuki could have had was to see the red Aurora Borealis in Finland, where her parents met. Why not invite the only crush she’s ever had time for?

Miyuki heard that the cafe he managed was going bankrupt. In a desperate act, she offered him the money, but he promptly refused.
“Then be my boyfriend for a month, what do you think?”
Yusuke didn’t remember her. It all seemed like a tragicomic act of madness from a client he had never met.
“Are you sick in the head?”
Unfortunately, yes. Miyuki had a brain disease that, at that moment, Yusuke had no idea how little time she had left to live.
This type of emotional contract isn’t uncommon in Japan, but Yusuke isn’t a professional host and Miyuki has never been in a relationship.
“Is it okay to just do this?”
From day 1, Miyuki jumped head first, leaving Yusuke a little uncomfortable but unable to help but fall in love with such a sweet girl.
“Next time, come to my house. I want to introduce you to my siblings.”
The two were falling more and more in love, but for Yusuke the contract would end and for Miyuki, everything would end.
Snow Flower review: rent a boyfriend

I always tell my friends how diverse the love industry is in Japan. It caters to all kinds of fetishes in every imaginable situation.
In Snow Flower, the possibility of renting a boyfriend is presented in a youthful and amateurish way.
But the reality is that there are several apps in Japan where you can rent a girlfriend or boyfriend for a few hours just to chat and share a meal.
Why you should watch Snow Flower

I won’t leave Snow Flower ending explained or a download link here, but this Japanese film is based on one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard, Yuki no Hana by Mika Nakashima.
In addition, the production team struggled a lot to capture the beautiful images of the aurora borealis in Finland, but the end result was gorgeous.
