I took advantage of the sunny weather and went to a festival that took place on the island of Odaiba. For those who don’t know, that’s where the iconic Fuji TV building is located. I took the opportunity to make this record.

It’s one of my favorite stations. It’s not the one that produces most of the movies I like. But, it has its great value.

Two Japanese films on Fuji TV that are among my best are Kasane, with Tao Tsuchiya and Kyôko Yoshine, and Caracter, with Masaki Suda and Mitsuki Takahata.

I usually watch a Japanese movie to relieve stress. But today was the day to ease tension at the batting center in Kabukicho. I haven’t done that for a long time.

Of course, as always, it reminded me of one of the Japanese movies I watched. This one in particular features one of my favorite actresses, Kyoko Fukada. She acts in a love triangle with Goro Kishitani and Tae Kimura.

The film that had scenes filmed in a batting center is called In The City of Dawn and is an intense plot about betrayal in marriage.

Earlier today, I was looking for some photos on my phone and I found this record of the day I went to see Call Me Chihiro at Musashinokan in Shinjuku.

As I’m a fan of Kasumi Arimura, I went right away on opening night and I wasn’t disappointed.

The movie was pretty good. Even addressing serious and often difficult aspects of adult life. Chihiro, in a very mature way, handled all situations well.
